Default C5Z pricing.

As a potential buyer, what would be the difference in price for a "good" deal and a "great" deal on an '04 C5Z in excellent condition with 5, 10, or 15000 miles?

Anywere from $34000 with high miles to $39000 with low miles...... The C5Z will see a upturn in price the closer to Spring we get and remain strong until late Fall.....

I doubt my '04 MY with 26k would sell for more than $32k.

Right now I'm sure you're probably close...but wait for spring and the prices will recover a bit. I'm counting on it too!

I'm not quite sure about that.

The '08 C6 will have the new L92 engine. 425-435(?) HP.

I think that will make the older Z06's drop in value a bit more.

I hope, I'd like to buy one!

I'm betting the C5's will hold strong. Many still believe the C5 style looks so much better than the C6. To each his own.

I personally like the C5 styling better myself, although the C6 is growing on me

A friend of mine just traded his 04 Commemorative edition with 20,000 miles in on a C6 Z06 and the dealer gave him $35,000. The bad news is, he still owes $40K.
If you can get one for what a dealer is willing to offer, you are probably doing good.

Dang that is a good deal, I hate to say I paid MSRP. However the dealer gave me 20 K for my 96LT4 that I had 75k on (60 K of my own, bought it used for 23K). So add that to the the decrease in the sales tax.........and well I still paid to much

Hindsight what can you do, but I do love the car. And I paid for it up front so it may very well be my last Vette, without regard to how much I love the new Z my income is not what it used to be still I never thought I'd be able to own a vette in the first place so I can't complain

when we bought our 03' Z in december, we looked at an 04' Z just hours before at a dealer and could have gotten it for $32k even. but the wifey wanted yellow, not red.
