Torque Tube??

Torque Tube??
What is it? Anyone have a pic or diagram?
My 98 a4 makes this annoying vibrating sound and feeling in the car at red lights, or anywhere that its in gear and foot is on the brake....
if you shift it to neutral, the vibration goes away, it only happens when the drivetrain has a load on it..
It also goes away as soon as you left off the brake and start rolling.....
What could this be? A mount? torque tube bushings? any ideas?
