Spent the weekend in the garage and got a few mods on: 04 Z06 shocks & sways and this pic is lowered on stock bolts all the way front & back. The results were the same as I've read in many post, "It's like it's on rails."
Want just a little more drop in the front & rear so I guess I'll be trimming down the front bushings next, already put in the longer rear bolts just after this pic and got the rear down another 3/4". Also put on the zinc coated D/S rotors w/Hawk Pads also after this pic, will post another in a couple days with them all when I get the front down where it belongs.....Man what a beautiful day it was here in Texas....
Looks great, absolutely love the look of your car with the c6zo6 wheels
Appreciate it
My mod fever is a terminal case I think.. Was looking for Chrome thin 5 spokes like the painted ones that were on it. Then I spotted a pic one day of a MY couple with those on and I knew I HAD to have them. Went ahead and put on non run-flat GY GS-D3's at the same time and absolutely LOVE them, I'll NEVER go back to run-flats, no more wheel hop, better handling, ride, noise levels, etc, etc, etc. Of course then putting on the Z06 shocks & sways rounded out the package nicely... Thanks again
It doesn't look that much lower than factory ride height.?
Rims are .
Stock on mine was an inch or more higher than pictured here, there was a huge body gap before. These pics are with no threads left showing on back and bottomed out in front. I was suprized too, thought it'd get down to where I want it but didn't. Thus I'm trimming the front bushings next, already put longer bolts on back and got it down some more.
Congrats on the mod. Once the "New" feeling of being on rails wears off you can get that feeling back very quickly with a tunnel plate upgrade. It's a very inexpensive yet VERY effective way to really tighten up the C5. CLICK ME

Have you or anyone else had problems being lowered and speedbumps? I know all about going at an angle and slow, but damn some of these vettes are really low

I have to go over speed bumps and let the A&A frame savers sit on the bumps and then over them I go, I am low and love it.
Your Vett looks great and the front will probably settle a little after a few miles, though I did cut my front bushing so I am fairly low
