Hi everyone. I am planning on buying a C-5 Vette (my favorite) as soon as I return from the Middle East in a few weeks. I have been reading threads on this forum for a while and noticed that Vettes aren’t just cars, they are a lifestyle! Can some of you tell me some of the best things about driving and owning the car? The looks the power etc. I need more convincing! Hopefully I haven't overlooked this topic and posted a repeat. Thanks for your time!
Good luck finding your car, but the second you do you'll know it. When you get in and start it up, you wont need anymore convincing. Its not just a car its a passion... and its addicting so be careful
I bought mine in October after many years of wanting one, and that was the best purchase I've made. My first thought when looking at a toy was a Mustang GT (more practical with 2 kids) but I knew I would always want the Vette. I'm so glad I didn't go for the slow 4 seater. I live in CT and still see Mustangs on the road through the sand and salt. You won't find a Vette out though. Good luck the search is the best part. Some advice, buy from a private party much cheaper. Mine is a 01 Coupe mint with all options $24k with 21,000. miles.
