Hi everyone. I am planning on buying a C-5 Vette (my favorite) as soon as I return from the Middle East 
in a few weeks. I have been reading threads on this forum for a while and noticed that Vettes aren’t just cars, they are a lifestyle! Can some of you tell me some of the best things about driving and owning the car? The looks the power etc. I need more convincing! Hopefully I haven't overlooked this topic and posted a repeat. Thanks for your time!

I bought mine in October after many years of wanting one, and that was the best purchase I've made. My first thought when looking at a toy was a Mustang GT (more practical with 2 kids) but I knew I would always want the Vette. I'm so glad I didn't go for the slow 4 seater. I live in CT and still see Mustangs on the road through the sand and salt. You won't find a Vette out though. Good luck the search is the best part. Some advice, buy from a private party much cheaper. Mine is a 01 Coupe mint with all options $24k with 21,000. miles.
