Default V1 Problem?
I have the Valentine 1 radar detector. Today while driving home it went off about 5 or 6 time and it sounded like a telephone ringing. Has anyone had this happen?

I think that's the alert for laser I believe, but not positive, but mine's done it a few times as well. Would have to check the manual.

How long did the "ringing last"
did the display show anything..... a "J" perhaps?

You may be hearing the warning for PoP radar that after processing the V-1 determines to be "Junk"

Thanks for the help. their was a Lexus LS 430 behind me .I think that might have been it.

You will definitely get some false laser warning if you are following some newer vehicles with led tail-lights. Namely GMC Envoys and Chevy Trailblazers.
