[Z06] Corsa vs Borla

Corsa vs Borla
Looking for a new exhaust. I have the need for a deeper exhaust note. I am trying to decide between Corsa Pace car and Borla Stingers. I have LG long tubes with out Cats. Thanks for your opinions.

I have an 02 Z with the Borlas, love the sound, very snarly, racks off real nice and burbles as you decell. Stainless looks really nice too. I have lots of CDs and they stay in their case, would rather listen to the car!

I have always been a fan of BORLA. My dad has Corsa Pace Car's on his C5 and they sound great, without any drone on the highway. I have heard that especially with longtubes, the BORLA stingers' highway drone gets annoyingly loud. Many people end up taking them off and putting the stock Ti's back on. My next mod will be longtubes. How do you like your LG's? Did you get the LG Pro's or the street series? With or without cats? Did they effect the sound with the stock Ti's?

Just my opinion from what I have and what I've heard with my own ears.
Idle - Borla wins here. Corsa's don't sound great at idle like the Borlas.
Rowing thru the gears - Tie. They both sound really good going thru the gears, and equally good at WOT.
Highway/Cruise RPM - Corsa. There is absolutely no drone at highway speeds with Corsa. I hear more tire noise than exhaust.
Overall........ take your pick - they both sound awesome.
BTW - don't let anyone tell you Corsa's (Pace Car) don't drone/resonate. They do......it's just at a higher rpm (2500-3000 rpm), so it doesn't annoy you as much

I have a C5 with Dynamax long tubes and the Corsa Pace. It is a great sound, approaching too at WOT. I like the looks of the Tigers Shark tips and the limited drone, so I am leaning toward the Corsa's.

The Corsa came on my Z when I bought it and at first I wanted something louder, however I think they sound awesome when rowing through the gears. They have that tough exotic sound at higher rpms. Don't really like the Borla's, in my opinion if you want something with a muscle car sound why not get the Bullets?

we have had borlas on our 89...since it was about new. but they do resonate on the highway and are pretty loud. corsa's were on our 03' Z along with kooks longtubes when we bought it and you barely notice them cruising down the road. but stand on it, and they are definately loud. i prefer the corsa's now.
