Default torque: 2001 vs 2000+ C5's

i was looking at msn.com autos and it says the 2001 c5 is rated at 375lb torque at 4400 rpms. the 00,02-04 all say they are rated at 360lb torque at 4000 rpms. do the 2001's really have more torque than the other 2000 and up c5's? or did chevrolet adjust the way they rate their cars this year? thanks.

In 01 they upped the torque and horsies alittle bit. And that carries through 04. So 01,02,03,04 should be the same . 90% positive anyway, if Im wrong somebody will chime in.
By the way some 01s had a oil burning issue.

The early models had the oil problem. Most of the 01s don't have the problem.

The torque comes from the 3.42 gears in the rear of the 6 speed otherwise they are rated at the same HP!

Thanks,Matt
