Your lugs should be beveled - no washers if you are using stock rims.

No washers are needed on 12x1.5mm acorn lug nuts. I have the GORILLA lug nuts/locking lug nuts which are available from any DISCOUNT TIRE outlet near you. The regular nuts require a 3/4" socket and the locking nuts have a special OD splined "key" socket, 3/4" hex on top. They're chromed steel with a slightly smaller OD than oem.
