Default Painted Engine bay mod (pics posted)

Ok, I must say I am really please with the outcome of the painted engine bay pieces. I had taken some before and after pics of the engine bay. Two weeks ago to the day, I took off the pieces (fuel rail covers, washer fluid tank, coolant tank, raditor cover and the air bridge) and handed them to a friend that paints. I received the FR covers, both tanks and the radiator cover (which he took back because he notcied a run in the paint). I would have never noticed it.

He usually paints motorcyles, golf club heads, etc. He is trying to start a business at this kind of stuff. This is his first attempt at Corvette engine parts. I feel he did a great job!! His shop is still under construction. He was able to get the paint booth going after converting a old barn into his shop.

I realize my hoodliner will be my next change as the original is coming apart around the edges. I have posted some before and after pics of the engne bay. What do you think?

Passenger side before.

Passenger side after.

Driver side before.

Driver side after.

He said I should have the air bridge and radiator cover back Sunday afternoon.

I was excited and acting like a kid on xmas morning!!!

Looks good

What does something like that cost? Is it powder coated or does a regular paint shop do something like that?

$325-$375 for painting not powdercoating. I see others trying tio sell individual pieces for $199-$250 for a "smoothie". He provided the same results and I think they turned out really good.
