Stop and think about it for a minute. What would happen if you made a square out of a coathanger and you pushed one side in? Would the pushed in side stretch and bend in, or would the other 3 sides also give and not remain perpendicular to each other? This car is tweaked big time.
Actually that car looks like it is pretty good shape. Looks easy to fix. I would fix it. Hardest part looks like it would be pulling the fuel tank so you could section the frame. The car don't look like it was hit very hard at all. The frames on these cars is very thin and very easy to bend when hit in the side like this one was. The frames are super strong for their weight, but a thin box is easy to flatten out like that one did.
Don't buy it thinking you are going to fix it and sell it and make lots of money. Most people won't buy a car like these with a salvage title. It's not your normal market looking to buy these cars, and salvage title does mean a lot to this market. But if you are looking for a cheap Vette to drive yourself and have someone who can fix it then it may be a good deal.
You also want an experienced frame person to look at the car if your are not familiar with crash damage. There is a lot of damage that can be hidden and you want someone who knows what to look for.
