[Z06] Finally a Owner
The sad part is there were quite a few times when I just said screw it and get a Silver Z06 (Second Favorite Color) instead, since I see them a lot more for sale with low miles. But in the end I said, if I am going to spend this kind of money on a car, might as well take my time and get everything I wanted. And I am so happy, to have her now. I flew down to Vegas to check it out and drove it all the way home, all in one day. The drive was awesome, and the car performed flawlessly. I even experienced a lot of rain and even a little snow on the way back, but the car had no problems with either conditions. I love this car, and wanted to say this is the most awesome car I have ever owned, and I have gone through some pretty crazy rides.
The best part is now I actually feel like a part of this forum, and in the whole the Corvette Community. I have been a member on here for quite a while but never posted much, just learned a lot. But now, I feel like one of the guys, so you all will see me a lot more on here. Again thanks for your time, and have lots of fun with your Z06, I know I will. Here’s a couple pic’s of her.

I am in the exact same boat and will be posting a similar thread in about a week when it's "official." Picking my EB '03 up on Friday.
QS was my second favorite color as well, but searched long and hard to find the EB.

Congrats and welcome to the club!!!

Sounds like and awesome return-home trip.
I drove from 'Vegas to Reno two years ago on my motorcycle - I went though death valley and then Inyo etc.
What route did you take home? (Just being nosey lol).
When I decided I was going for a Z instead of a viper way back when, I was leaning toward white, but then they stopped making white and instead announced the beautiful Electron Blue......I was in love!
I put a picture of an EB Z pre-production car on my windows background and then obsessed for half a year.
It was worth the wait.

best regards -

And mqqn, I took I5 pretty much all the way back home, and it was great driving. It only took 1 and 1/3 tank full of gas. This car was designed to be driven, and was very comfortable. Again, I want to say thanks again for the warm welcome. And oh yeah, the car is bone stock, and I'll keep it stock until I learn a little more about her.
