Vanity plate fees
Are vanity plates a one-time fee (my county is $50) for plate creation, or do you have to pay that fee each year you renew your tag? Couldn't find the answer on the county website.

In Florida I pay $36.10 for a regular/standard plate on the vette and $63.10 for a Challenger/Columbia plate on the daily driver, not even a vanity plate.
I believe the additional cost in most states is annualy.

Looks like a $50 annual fee for you.
In Illinois, it is around $75 for the plate, and then a $10 premium on top of the standard fee each renewal period.

Yeah I'd gladly cough up $50 as a one-time fee, but am on the fence about the yearly renewal thing. Granted, anyone can come up with $50 by not eating out 5 times in a year, but it's just "one more thing" ya know.
