IM currently receiving 3 service lights..
Traction Control
ABS
Active Handling..
Not sure if this is a big problem or if a sensor is bad. B4 I take it to the shop I was checking to see if anyone can give me some pointers on what it could be and what I might be able to check for to do myself b4 the shop gets involved.
They came on b4 but when I shut my car off and wait 2 mins they wouldn't come back on..but now there steady..
OK, this one's easy - follow the instructions in the link below to display any trouble codes that may have been recorded - write them down and post them....
From: "Man been singin' the Blues, since he began to till the ground"...Vancouver, USA WA.
You may want to also check this thread "List of owners with EBCM issue", currently back on pg. 3, C5 gen. This problem has hit alot of US, and those are some warning signs. Sorry, I'm not sure how to link that thread to this one.
This happened to me also. I drove through a lot of water one day, and ended up blowing a turn signal light. Then a few weeks later it started doing throwing these service warnings whenever I went over train tracks or hit any kind of bump. Check your grounds, clean them, tighten them, check your fuses, make sure none are loose.

The smart money and your wallet are on a failed or failing EBCM, but use your DIC to identify the code before you throw back two fingers of bourbon and count out the cash. There are some collateral wiring and ground issues that might also be the culptrits, but the EBCM problem is almost certainly what you are up against.
If you are unfamiliar with how to toggle your way through the DIC, use the appropriate search string and get the instructions here on the Forum, as well as some guidance on codes. The combination of dashboard warning codes you identified, when associated with a 1214C code, are almost certain confirmation you need to replace or rebuild your EBCM, and that you are rolling down the road without the benefit (and protection) of ABS, Traction Control and Active Handling. That could be good news to your local body shop or an opportunity for some young ER intern to learn how to reattach severed limbs, but bad news for your hide and your budget.
EBCM rebuilds range from a low (on this Forum) of less than $175 to $375 (on eBay) plus shipping your core both ways, and new units from GM in the $700 - $800 range if you can track down Gene Culley (also on this Forum) and get the right part for the best price. If it is the EBCM and you want the “new, upgraded" GM unit, and can do the R&R yourself, don’t forget that all EBCMs are not the same … there are several discrete part numbers for C5s depending on the model year, so check with a local or online resource before you buy a take-off or garage sale part.

Wow,
This is dissapointing. My 02 Z just went to "full time" lights on with this error. I have similar codes to Matty K.
I have a direct link to GM parts, but unfortunatly I must supply correct part number. If I can figure out the correct one of the three I have found during my search, I plan on repairing myself. Can anyone chime in with info on the correct part number below? PS Can help with anyone else looking to buy one at the best price out there.
