Welcome and CONGRATS. Any pictures? That will help me help you. Wouldn't waste your money on the TB yet, you need some bigger mods to worry about that, so put that money elsewhere. CAI and LS6 intake would help out alot, then look at the header situation after that you are talking big bucks.

Welcome to the best club you will ever belong to!!!! I have had my first vette, ( 2000 MN6 Coupe), for about eighteen months, three days, eleven hours, thirty eight minutes and forty nine seconds, more or less. The best advise I can give you is to be patient. I have the Corsa touring system and a few intake mods,,,Stock Z06 irbow lid, K&N filter, etc. but I waited a while before I did anything performance wise to the SilverBullet00. I had some fun with some interior and exterior bling things to pay the Vette Tax. The reason I waited and advise you to do the same is that these are already very fast cars. I know that in my case I learned ALOT about how to and how NOT to drive my car since I got it. A steep learning curve is a good teacher. You will "learn" what you want to do to your car depending on how you "learn" to drive it. Just a thought. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah the funny thing is that I havent even sat in my car yet. I bought it like 2 months ago and had my father go check it out and pick it up for me. Im still stuck in Iraq for another month, ive just been ordering parts for it. Well thanks again for all the info.

Best of luck on the rest of your tour in Iraq! And thanks for your service.
That 'vette will be double sweet for you when you get back. You deserve it!
What mods to do depend on what you're ultimate goal is for the car and your budget. As we all learn, adding HP and torque means lots of $$$. If you're not interested in racing the car is it worth it to you to spend lots of $$$ and start doing head/cam changes or supercharging?? once you do those then you have to start worrying about cluthc, brakes, etc..!!! or would you rather spend money on a nice set of wheels?? Up to you.
As most of us will tell you though, driving the stock car is cool at first, but after a while 345Hp at the flywheel doesn't seem like much and you'll want more and more. It's addicting!!! Whatever you do though, this website is the best for advice. Everybody here is helpful.
By the way, thanks for serving in Iraq. Get home safe and send us pics of the vette.
ej,
Congrats on the purchase! I spent much of last year in Iraq (see my profile pic). I REALLY missed my car when I was there. Stay safe and hurry home!
