Hey, I'm curious if a c6 shift **** will fit a stock C5 shifter?

Humm...any good suggestions for a similar aftermarket shift **** that will fit? Or, are there not any aftermarket perfect fits?

The C6 shift **** has different threads than the C5. But, there is an exact replica **** made with the C5 threads. 9/16 -18, I believe.
I know this for sure, my '99 has one. It was on the car when I bought it. It is a nice ****. I am pretty sure I saw one on ebay since I got the car, but do not have a link to it.

There is an EBAY vendor that "modifies" the C6 **** to fit the C5 lever, but it's costly.

no but you can buy a C6Z06 shifter and replace the stocker much better and shorter throw . just my .02
