Default accessory power outlet

Dead battery. Black & Decker has a unit that plugs into a DC outlet inside the car. They claim you can start your vehicle in a matter of minutes by pluuging this unit into the DC outlet. Is this the accessory outlet inside the console? The manual says it's for cell phones and CB's. Anybody familiar with this? Black & Decker makes many chargers that do various things. I need one that will start the car and float charge afterwards. Any suggestions?

I hook up my Battery Tender using the cigarette lighter plug.

I could be wrong but I thought that the center console accessory plug is switched meaning that when you turned off the ignition key, the accessory plug would be turned off as well...

I have one of these also. Use the cigarette lighter located under the heat/ac controller.
