Just curious, but has anyone try to do anything about their car covers dry-rotting or tearing? I bought a new cover last fall because my other cover was thinning and ripping and I patched it with good ol' duck tape. Then I just noticed that my other car cover was doing the same. These cars sit out in all the weather, hot and cold, rain or snow, but I noticed that Midamerica(I believe) states they have a 3 year warranty. I bought the same covers(stormshield) from corvette central, so I called them. They told me to mail the covers to them and they would send them to the manufacturer to see what they would do. CC only gives one year warranty, so why does MA give 3 years? Or is it from the manufacturer? Anyway, I sent them one cover now and will see what they say about the condition of the covers. I can't see these covers lasting more then 2 to 2.5 years. JUst thought I would throw this out there. Thanks

I bought a car cover 5 years ago for my Fiancee's Camaro that sits out all year round. Forgot the company name I got it from, but within that 5 years, it has only faded from red to a pinkish color. The rest of the cover is still like new. I spent $250 on it.
