A Shocking Dilemma!!!

Ok, here it is I'm ready to buy the last of my parts for a suspension upgrade, my plan: Z-51 springs, 2004 Z06 swaybars and factory 2004 Z06 shocks, or substitute those new FSD Koni's, or Bilstein HD's? Now, I'm after a firm and compliant ride, no bone jarring rides, because my pavement in VA has plenty of rough spots. I want to eliminate the "float" of my stock suspension, corner flatter, but yet retain a comfortable ride. (If it were a Mustang, I would know exactly what pieces to use) I'm leaning towards the Stock '04 Z06 shocks. At $326. they are half of the other shocks I'm looking at leaving me $300 to throw on a Colt "Gold Cup" model 1911 pistol I've been eyeballing in the gun shop. Arrrgh, too many toys, too little time and funds!John
