"Japanese cars top rankings", by Jeff Karoub of the Associate Press, out of detroit.
"The Toyota Prius ranked as the most satisfying vehicle overall fro the fourth consecutive year based on the percentage of respondents who said they would buy the same model again, according to the magazine's annual car owner satisfaction survey. THE CHEVROLET CORVETTE, MADE IN BOWLING GREEN, KY., CAME IN SECOND."
We my friends are in good company, ranked with the Japanese cars.
(I just quoted or keyed this one paragraph, not the whole article.)

But according to MSNBC there wasn't an American car till about 10th place and that was Mercury.
They love to twist it to make it look like American cars are junk.
"Purple prose" I think they call it
Yeah, the Prius is a fantastic car........beautiful flowing body lines, sleek sexy shape, classy interior, a whopping 110 hp. 0-60 in 10.5 secs. I bet it's a blast to drive.
Check out the next car show you go and see if there are lots of them lined up, with people "oohing" and "ahhing" over them saying "I've just got to have one of those!"
I personally would be more satisfied with a Vette over a Prius. I hope I'm not contributing to global warming
Me? I hope I AM contributing to global warming. After all, there are a lot of places in Canada that would be cool to visit in a Vette.....but we can't just yet as there is too much snow!!
Take a good look at that picture. Now ask yourself, "if I saw this man at the time this picture was taken would I have EVER thought he (and she) would have been president?"
How many people over 50 were saying, "and in their hands rest the fate of our nation." AAAARGH!!!
Look around you today. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Bet they've never even sat in a Vette. (obligatory sentence in order to keep this on topic

There are no good hiding places in a vette for them to stash their dope....Besides, I bet Clinton would say he never drove over the speed limit if he had a vette (we all know he did not "inhale")
