Default Buying a vette...

hey everyone im thinking of buying a vette in the next couple months, and i had a few questions about them. I currently drive a mustang gt with pretty much every bolt on imaginable, so im familiar with ford, but not chevy. Im looking to spend around 30K so what should i consider? I was thinking 2002 zo6. R there big differences in the car from 2001-2003? How well do these cars respond to mods.. intake, exhaust, etc?? What kind of power will a 2002 z06 put down at the wheels stock? Sorry if im asking too many questions, but i like to research every possible option before i buy, and im just not familiar with corvettes, although i know i want one. any suggestions would help me out. thanks

2001 only had 385 hp

2002-2004 had the 405 hp

White only available in 2001.

Go over to the C5's for sale and check things out---look at prices---mods---mileage---locations and pics. there are quite a few Z06's over there but I think it is because everyone wants a NEW Z06. I was a T/A person until I got my vette---now i can't imagine having anything but..Good luck
