Can CF help me decide?
I hate to do this and I know it is very subjective, but I need some help deciding. Just figure if it was you money what you would do. The borla system is a used touring system in good condidtion and the Bassani system is a aluminum system with there polised tips and its brand new. Both system are the exact same price.

i have never heard the bassini's in person but i had borla stingers. they DRONE. i have had a Ti set and they were awesome but a little too quiet, even with headers.
i just got a set of corsa indys and they are sweet. i swear to you that in 6th gear @ 70 MPH they are even QUIETER than the Ti's were with absolutely no drone.
i'd consider the indy/pace car setup from corsa.

I would like to have the corsa system, but I cant find one preowned that is a good deal, and the cheapest new one is around 800 bucks. Both of these systems are around the $600 mark.

where'd you find a new corsa set for $800? the cheapest brand new pro tip one i found was 896 shipped.
i am still very pleased with them, and would not have been as satisfied as i am now with anything else.
there is a guy selling a set of tigershark indy's in the FS section right now for $800. the tigershark tips usually go for over a grand.

And you said you had Borla Stingers that drone? Which ones did you have? On Eckler's site, it says for the Stingers "No resonance". I think Borla might be lying about their products.
I was considering the stingers, but I went with the Corsas. It really made a point about Corsa's "sound cancelling" technology, I couldn't handle the drone!!

yep, i got mine from autopartswarehouse.com i ordered it monday and it was at my door on wednesday, with free shipping (on their website). the ebay link above is with the plainer tips & shows a lower price but 50 to ship, which is still cheaper than what i paid.

One is classic tips one is pro tips. On another note, I just listened to a sound clip of the bassani system I am considering on a vette and I was very impressed. I really am leaning toward this system espically since it is something you dont see or hear a whole lot of.

and if borla is saying that their stingers do not drone, they're freaking liars. their mufflers drone like crazy, especially at 16-1900 RPMs in 6th on a highway commute.
