Does anyone know where I can find 2 of these tires. They are on backorder. I want new, but will take whatever I can get. I have cash in hand. Someone please help! I can not finish my widebody project without these. Somebody has got to have some they are willing to part with. Let me know.
Thanks.

discount tires is not saying anything about a backorder.

yeah I know, but when you go down to buy them, they don't have them and can not give a date when they will.
I noticed you were in Albuquerque. If they have them there I will drive over to get them.
I have checked Discount, and a wheel/tire whse here in Fullerton, and Tire Rack, and Performance Tire, I even called Pirelli, no one has them.
I am trying everything I can think of to find them. I do not know what the deal is, all I know is my car is on jackstands.

Don't know if you know already, there is the www.discounttire.com website which ask you for a state and zipcode because it is the website for the local store and there is the www.discounttiredirect.com website which is basically the same discount tire company but is factory direct, prices are often cheaper at the www.discounttiredirect.com and you get free shipping and get the tires in as early as a couple of days to about 5 days depending on where it's coming from. I went to the discount local store and they don't have the tires I'm looking for- tech told me he'll order it and it might take a day or two, decided not to order at the store because they were going to charge me shipping and sales tax, went to the discount tire direct site found it cheaper and ordered the tires - got them in 2 days and no shipping charge and no tax. So if you haven't yet, you might want to try the facotry direct site.

Thanks much for info, they show none also.
This is very frustrating, I am sitting here with cash in hand and am not allowed to buy a specific product.

I feel your pain. I have two of them, both purchased on ebay at different times. Both used. I bought them for the same reason you did, to test fit them and make measurements for future mods. Once I have every thing the way I want it, I'll buy new ones to drive on. Keep an eye on ebay, as they pop up there from time to time. You may also want to check the Viper boards, as they are the only other car to use this size regularly.

not to make you mad or anything - but if you are having a hard time now getting them, wont you have just as hard a time getting them when you need them again? That was my logic in getting a set of 19's - availability! And even those can be a bit of a pain i have found
cheers

I all ready have 20x13.5" wheels for the project. I will probably buy a bunch of them when they are available.

Try this, don't know if you've already checked and so far no mention of back order

Never used them but they're the only froogle link that came up for that size.

Have you thought about running a little slimmer tire I think there are Michelin PS2's at 325-25-20 they seem to be more widely available.

suck it up now and get this size. your car might be down for months and months if you continue to wait for the size you're looking for.

if/when they do become available, order a set then and swap them.

at least with the 325's now, your car will be back on the road.

I was planning to build the wheels to fit them since it is the widest tire in 20" but after checking the price, wearing, and availability, I changed my mind and either go with 325 or 335 for cheaper and better wearing Mich tires.
