4 Post Lift (Direct Lift) Installed
Finally got the lift in. Decided to go with the Pro Park 9 Pro from Direct Lift. I can’t speak to it reliability yet, but I can tell you it is one solid lift. My 17 year old son and I completed the job which took over 10 hours (and one sore body) from womb to tomb. Directions were just terrible (at best).
Special thanks to RWVH for all his advise (you’re the best Rick). I also want to thank OAKS99 for his post on installation of this lift. That really helped as well. One special note of importance is that the cross bars need to be installed with the channel locks facing out and towards the pump side.

Hi testpros -
Congrats!
You have a nice setup there!
Now your beer will be much cheaper (six-pack = exhaust install, 12 pack = exhaust + oil change etc. )
best regards -

I have a question. Why does everyone get a four post lift? From what I've seen, then you have to fool with a bridge and jackstands anyway to take the wheels off.
Why not get a two post lift where you can just take the wheels off without fooling with all that? What am I missing here?

and the 4 post thats shown above above is avail with caster's so it can be moved from one side of the garage or even out to the driveway if you need to acess the complete garage area without any obstructions, basically a little more flexability IMO.

Yea, I did get the lift from Greg Smith Equipment in Delaware. I worked with Gavin Smith. Really good guy and VERY responsive.

Well i was considering a 2 post and i agree with what you say but you have to bolt it into the floor, somthing i choose not to do, not the optimal setup for storing a vehicle with the wheels left on(long term)
