I knew that you'd fall into it! I see you like to harass, so I figured I'd pull you out. You did exactly what I thought you would. Seems your vocabulary only includes words that demean other people. After a while, people here will begin to see what you are like. And, you may be the one that gets banned. Keep up the good work. I'm sure it will get you somewhere in life.

More rigid than the base coupe ones for sure. If by HD you are referring to the T1 end links then I would expect it to be worse. Those end links are heim jointed and have no rubber isolation at all. Once they are adjusted down they hold the sway bar even more rigid. Unless I'm mistaken that means the back could jump out more. Now matched with the T1 sway bars they might help if you can live with how tight the car is on a daily basis.

I'll let you know. I just got a set of T1 bars and matching end links. They're going in over the next couple of weeks. That front bar is FAT!
I'll be watching for your results .... I'm very interested in the difference between the Z06 and T1 suspension systems ....

Well if you haven't been too mean and got booted off the forum for picking on the HARDTOP guy, I'll update you

I'm doing T1 bars only. I have the 02 suspension with the 04 shocks. Which I like a lot. But the car still has more body roll than I expected given the Z06 sway bars size and how rigid the car is. My C4 with the same size sway bars was quite flat. It really shows on an AX course where you have rapid transitions and the the turns are hard.

The front bar really is massive, 38mm. If that doesn't flatten the nose out I don't know what will. I knew they were big but when you pick one up and look at it. All I could say was, Holy Sh... !

I'm installing them mid-month. Then playing with them for a couple of weeks. Might get in an AX to do a quick shakedown. Then off to VIR for a track weekend in early April to really test them. I'll test first with my regular track wheels/tires. Then I'll test with my other update. Some CCWs with Hoosier R6 in 305/30-18 front and 335/30-18 rear. A friend used this same setup. I've also ridden with a bunch of guys that use the T1 bars with the 04 setup and the cars feel very flat. Mid corner and out of corner they get back on the gas much sooner than me. Through rapid transitions they stay glued to the pavement. So I'll let you know how it goes and my impressions on them.

I have been told that it is next to impossible to stop the end links from clanking. So for a daily driver it might get annoying. I'll PM you on it or start a new thread.

Please start a new thread .... I'd be most interested in your impressions from VIR ... any chance you can get some video from in the car would be awesome ... I've heard great things about that track and being a left coaster have not had the opportunity to go there.

I'll try to be nicer so I don't get locked out .... right .....

Ok it'll be 4-6 weeks before I get any real feeling for street/track/AX use. But I'll open a new thread. I'm doing VIR North in April and VIR Full in May and at least 1 or 2 AX events. So I'll get a few data points.

As far as VIR goes. If you ever make it over to the right coast you must try and run there. Excellent track and facilities. I've run 4 configurations there. Full, Grand, North and South. I have video of some of it. I'll make sure to use video more this year.

Stephen, I'm in the same boat, contemplating which way to go to upgrade the suspenion in my 03Z. Which track events are you going to in the near future? I'm trying to get to the one on 3/27 w/Lotus Club...it's very low priced. Just gotta figure out which tires to get to replace my rear bald NT-01's. There will be other Vettes there for sure.

Phil,

I don't have anything scheduled right now. I usually run with a group out of So. Cal. called Driving Concepts. ( www.drivingconcepts.com )

Which track is the Lotus Club going to, Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow, Sears Point ??

I'll see if I can join up, gotta check tonight for my schedule.

Thanks,

Steve

They're going to TH - my favorite track! Then later I'll go with NCRC www.ncracing.org That club offers great instruction, a Time Trial series and also a race series if you car is properly outfitted. Let me know if you're considering going with NCRC since new members, if referred, get a ONE THIRD discount on their first day.

Sorry about the hijack.
