Its not here yet but when it gets here what is the best way to lift this puppy not to do any damage.
Sure would be nice to get something better then the discount auto stores have.
floor jack??

A lot of the guys here use Rhino ramps, available from various sources. A few have made their own ramps. Some lift the car and put it on jackstands. For those of us with a few spare bucks and no desire to take any chances, check out http://www.kwiklift.com .. they make a set of long drive-on ramps which can then be jacked up in the back (with a floor jack) to bring the whole car about 20 inches off the ground at all wheels. I just picked mine up yesterday, and although I haven't assembled it yet, it looks great .. very strong (and heavy).

I've used a jack and stands with no problems on my lowered Z06 (about 3/4 inch drop). I just place a nice soft rag between the jack and the jacking point (being careful not to catch F/G. Then I put rags on the top of my stands when I lower the car onto the stand (you want to place your stands at the aluminum cross members). I've see the Rhino ramps, and I have to say as low as the car is now, I don't think I could get on them.
