Pulled the Z out of the garage the other day since the snow had stopped and the 100,000 trillion tons of PENDOT salt had washed away. Anyhow, the Delco had finally let go which I promptly replaced with a Bosch. For the first half hour or so that I dorve the car, I had a small problem with the head up display. It would faintly flash all possible features of the display in light blue and then return to normal. It did this 4 or 5 times and then no longer was a problem for the rest of the drive.
The Z is back in the garage as it is now snowing again but I was wondering if anyone else had seen this in their display in the past.
Was it sunny on your drive and were you driving in the same direction when all the flashing occured? It's not uncommon for the sun to shine down into the HUD and cause all the items to light up.

Mine did this last week... I too thought it was broke but when the sun direction changed everything went normal again.
