Default Chrome lug nut install

Probably a dumb question but............just bought a set of chrome lug nuts for my 'o2. Can I install them one at a time with the wheels of the ground i.e. not jacked up? Thanx

IMHO I would say you could do it that way as long as you did the install in the star pattern AND ensured they were torqued down first to 75lbs and then 100 lbs.

I would also either let the car sit over night or better yet drive it gently for a couple of miles and then retorque as above.

Yes, you can do it this way. In fact, I did exactly this this past Saturday. I would re-check torque though after about 20 miles of driving.
