Default Simple IPOD Question

I removed the Factory CD Changer

What do I need. Part #s please to plug into the CD Changer Plug and from there to my IPOD.

I know it's been posted but I don't feel like reading thru all the threads and off tangent replies.

Thanks

It is very hard not too because there are SO many different ways to do it.

Yes its annoying and confusing, but you have to search thru them to see which setup is best for your needs.

I just want the part # for the harness that connects to the factory CD changer location in the rear hatch and the IPOD2CAR part# that connects that part to my IPOD.

Thanks

Look, we are trying to help out, I posted exactly what you need, so you can read my single post (first one) or not, this topic is ALL over the forum and we are trying to prevent from another thread starting all over. I even posted the site I bought it from and if you want, you can call them (as I did) and explain exactly what you want to do and they will sell you exactly what you want.

Sorry to come across as an aZ$, but it is in my link.

Here it is again:

The simplest solution I have for you is the GM10-AUX adapter and an iPod dock connector to RCA cable. It won't charge your iPod nor will you be able to control the iPod through the HU but this setup has worked for me just fine.

The very first post lists the cable. Any IPOD2CAR unit will work, as that cable plugs directly into the harness.

The harness that you need (aka Vehicle Specific Harness) is: AB-GM10. Looks something like this: AB-GM10; one end connects to your COR-HAR harness (after you disconnect your CD-changer), the other end connects to the iPod adapter. Then you're all set

I purchased my iPod adapter through mp3yourcar.com and my kit INCLUDED this harness...

Thanks Larry.

That's exactly what I wanted to know. Going through the threads I got everything from replacing the Bose Head Unit and Factory speakers to why does the antenna go up and down?
