Default C5 NooB questions...

Yep I just bought a nassau blue M6 about a month ago and unfortunately it's now sitting in the garage while I spend 4 more months in the sandbox but since I want to fix every nitpicky thing on the car, I decided to pull the engine since it will seem easier. This has raised some questions I'm wondering about...

How much power can an M6 C5 take before parts start to fail? Torque tube, halfshafts, things like that? I'm twice as worried since I sheared off my wheel studs on my Camaro while I was home on street tires Also how many miles do they tend to last and is the torque tube serviceable?

when replacing the LS1 intake with the LS6, is it a straight bolt on replacement or are other small parts required? I heard in some cases EGR tubing or whatnot might be slightly different.

Are '98 C5 engine sensors the same as '98 Camaro SS engine sensors?

Just for fun, since the motor was out and I have a complete 320 mile '98 SS engine I figured I'd put that in there and transfer the cam over. While I was at it I figured I'd add these... figured I could do it for about $2200ish or so:
PRC LS6 CNC ported heads with 918 springs
ARP rod, main and head bolts
LS6 modified oil pump
Rollmaster double roller chain
LS6 intake and ported stock TB
SVO 30# flowmatched injectors
stock rocker arms
transfer cam, pushrods and oil pan
centerforce clutch in place of the spec II
new lifters (brand undecided)

Figured that would be a good combination of power and reliability on a budget. Car already has the rest of the supporting mods installed and I could drive the car (minus injectors) to the shop for a dynotune. This way I can minimize downtime...anything else I should look to replace with the engine out? It's approaching 150k miles and is in awfully good shape, wanna keep it that way

I'm not a car newbie, not close, but I have limited experience on C5's. Been a f-body guy for years and built tons of small blocks and a few stock only LS1's while I was a dealer tech, but never worked on the C5's.

Any comments of info would be great!

It's the same year vehicle. So I'm pretty confident it's the same engine. No difference between the C5 and SS engine at all other than nifty fuel rail covers! which apparently gives you "20" more horsepower. Atleast thats according to GM that over rates corvettes every year lol.
