The 327/350 engine in 1965 was the last Corvette with fuel injection until 1985?

The 327/350 had a 4 barrel the fuelie had 375 HP... I had the 350 one. That car with the 3:08 rear end ran 14.10 to 14.20 and 102 mph at the old Irwindale Raceway with stock tires. Loved that car, just wrecked it one too many times. If I had all my old cars I could retire. I also had a 1964 Ford Galaxy factory race car with the acid dipped body and the battery in the trunk, fiberglass hood etc. Wonder what that one would be worth now? Of course my present 02 coupe would annihilate any of my old cars.

I question one of your statements. You talk about the ZR1 costing about $30 k more in 1995??

ZR1 came out in 1990, and as I recall, it was about 31k more than the regular vette. Maybe there were two diff cars in 1990, and maybe the ZR1 in 1995 was an option on the regular car. That must have been it because the 1990 cars had a different rear end (body). The ZR 1 rear was about 4 inches wider, and the rear wheels clearly had an additional 2 inch offset, very visible from outside the car.

Damn, I'm good. It just took me 20 minutes to resurrect those facts, all by myself. I did not even have lie too much.

Guess I will take the rest of the day off.
