I couldn't help but notice that with the Halo LEDs, right will fit in the left position, and left fit in the right position. But then when I turned left, the right side would flash, and visa-versa. Who woulda thunk

If you put the left's on the right and the right's on the left side, you'll need to go back to using hand signals when turning. Or you can look in a mirror when using the turn signal level.
Looks like there's no shortage of ideas for this problem even with one less hour of sleep last night.
