Some people just can't stand to see anyone else enjoy having something nice and trying to take care of it. My brother's vette was keyed down one whole side and across the hood while it was parked a zillion miles from anything in a single spot. He has excellent insurance, however, so...can you say free paint job? My concern is that if the person disliked it so much they went out of their way to be a criminal the first time, how much are they going to like it when they find out it went into a professional paint shop the same day and had the entire car painted to eliminate the possibility of mismatched panels. He's due to pick it up any day now (they're waiting on some non related interior stuff). Fingers crossed.
Tell your brother, I feel for him. My car damage was nothing compare to his. Hope they match the paint and everything works out. That what I am dreading, is that they can't match the paint good, cause its just the rear driver panel that was damage. I hope a lighting rod zap those suckers that damage everyone cars. Peace out.

Yea, my repaint is better than stock, block sanded after the key job I had done. No one has ever been able to tell it was repainted.

That sucks and I am sorry to hear about this crap these losers pulled on your Z!
There are just too many jealous ***** losers out there and that is why why when i take one of my nice toys out the car usually does not leave my eyesight if i can pull it off (which does not happen all the time). By and large over the last 20 years though I have had really good luck with morons not messing with my nicecstuff.!
I was out at a restaurant with a friend that brought his really nice 90 ZR-1. We were sitting by the window when all of a sudden he takes off out the door. Aparantly, he saw two guys that were going to their car spit on the windshield of his vette as they walked past it.
They get into their car and drive out of the parking lot. My friend is at full gallap after them. They stop at the traffic light just outside of the parking lot.
My friend catches up to them and and knocks on the passenger window. The passenger rolls down the window and my friend says "thanks for spitting on my vette!" He then proceeds to give back to the passenger what he left on his windshield. I mean right in his face. Justice.

i always like parking far away were no one parks but for some odd reason someone always has to park next to me with all the other empty spaces....
I have seen this many times my self and have discovered what the reason for the majority of this is.
I park out away from everyone, only to return with others parked next to me and around me and now we're all out in the middle of no where.
I have discovered that this is because people want to see, and oggle the car but feel uncomfortable about just walking up to a nice car and not to the store in an opposite direction, so if they park closer then they get their look.
I can't even imagine what it would be like if this were a Lambo or Ferrai or something like that. This car gets way more attetion than my WS6 ever did...............the price we pay I guess.
