Default road trips

I am going on the Hot Rod Power Tour in June. It will be about 3,000 miles round trip and I was just wondering if I would need to get a bra or something to protect the front end with all of the highway driving. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

www.xpel.com You'll love it and the tour. My wife and I dropped down to see the PA leg of the HRPT last year. It's a great show.

Thanks for the info. My wife and I are going in my 2002 C5 and my brother has a 99 Z28. We are doing the long haul and we are really looking forward to it. Thanks again.

I've toured my 01 across Canada, east coast, west coast, Carlisle a few times and the New England States (lovely country).

You can't help but getting behind everything from log trucks to cattle trucks and what ever is coming off them, let alone gravel from the road. When I'm touring, the bra goes on and splash guards too. To look at the marks on the bra, it sure does it's job. The splash guards are there because I dislike getting a bushel off road tar etc off the rockers and lower door panels. Keeps the car looking neat for cruising around home!!

Bra or not, enjoy your tour, the 'vette is one hell of a touring vehicle!!!

The wife and I went round trip last May to Miami from northcentral Pa, 3400 mile round trip. I purchased a bra for the trip but found that it started to rub off the paint where it connected at the front wheel. For this years trip to Daytona Beach I purchased a clear bra. Haven't had the opportunity to install it yet but it looks promising.

Moserbe, I also did the install myself. If you bought the same kit as I did, you can cut your own rocker, wheel well lip, and sill protection from the extra stock.

Sounds like a fun trip! I'd get a bra.

Get a GM bra and use it - provides very good protection for a great price.
