need octane booster help
the reason i am looking at them is that i live on the gulf coast and i may have to evacuate in the event of a hurricane. last year we sat in long gas lines and did not have a choice when it came to gasoline. in the event this happens again i want to tank up with what ever i can get and boost the octane to where it should be.
the problem is things like 104 octane booster tell you they treat X gal of gas but don't seem to tell you what octane they will treat and how high they will bump it. so what is the story? take 104 booster. it says it is 16 oz and treats 27 gal of gas. can i take that to mean i can add it to 27 gal of 87 octane and it will make 27 gal of 104 octane?
