How far should I go??
Well Lori's Vette comes home tomorrow and I am planning to do the new HU and speaker installation next weekend.
Since I will have the console out and door panels off to do this should I go one step further and pull the seats and carpet and install a sound barrier?
If so what am I looking at as far as $ are concerned and were would I get it.
If you're going to do all the labor to install stereo equipment and plan on doing dampening as well I'd suggest you save yourself the time and do it now rather than tearing it apart twice.
It pains me to put toolmarks in screws once, let alone twice. But then again I'm a stickler for detail.
Edit: and for noise dampening audio-wise I'd suggest dynamat =]
