Default Probably a stupid question, but...

How do I remove the fuel rail covers? From looking at it, it looks like it is just clipped on, but I don't want to yank and crack something because I missed a screw.

Also, can I drive without the FRCs installed? I was thinking about painting them but the Vette is my daily-driver so I would need to drive it while the paint dries.

Thanks in advance for not laughing at me (or at least laughing with me)

The only stupid questions are the ones not asked...now there are frequently some stupid answers.
The covers simply snap in place. You need to thread the hose(s) carefully through the drivers side.
Yes, you can drive w/o the covers in place. They simply cover the coil packs on top of the valve covers.
A forum requirement is to post images once the paint dries.

No screws they just snap in place and are just for appearance.

Fuel rail covers just snap on. Pull up and they will come loose. You will need to take the oil cap off on the pass side to remove the FRC and for the driver's side, you need to flex the FRC where the fuel line goes through to avoid scratching it up. And yes, you can drive with the FRCs off the car.

You will be able to feel the tension where the clips are that hold them in place. Mine are sitting on my desk waiting to be painted. I ordered the paint last week at a GM dealer. Thanks for reminding me to call them.
