Hey guys! I was hoping to paint my caplipers, hats, and rotor edge in the next two weeks and can't decide on a color. I was hoping anyone with their caplipers painted could post pics. I am leaning towards a glossy black, yellow, or silver. I am open to all colors so please post pics. Thanks.

 

 

Don't have a pic handy, but with a black car, red calipers would look outstanding. I know lots of people have red calipers, but it's a great color for them.

 

Black on a pewter car is classy.

I am partial to red calipers as they realy stand out, but if your going for an all black look that would be nice too!

Whats the best thing you can buy to paint them with.

Mine are going to be red within a few weeks

 

I used the Dupli-Color Caliper paint kit and hi heat silver. The kit has everything you need.

 

If your going to paint I think red is the way to go, however here is another option

 

 

Ok have a question. We just had my wifes 99 vette painted a dark charcoal gray.

What color would you suggest for the calipers?

 

went black on mine - but considering changing..

 

I was considering Red but then I thought with the new Y2K chrome thin spokes we are putting on it maybe silver. Her accent color on the interior will be silver.

 

Red is required by law in most of the lower 48 states!
