Default HID question

I see all sorts of threads about headlights and PIAA and HID kits and so on... What kit is out there to have HID's but to not have to change hardware or lenses? I'd like to just get a simple instalation and not most im seeing on the forum. Im not looking for the thousand dollar C5R lights

Davis is a supporting vendor here and has sold over 50 of these sets to CF members the past two months. No issues, easy install, great person to deal with, best lighting. Plus you can always swap back to stockers if you sell. His order site is www.djmotorsportaccessories.com

You only need the lows and you probably will never use your highs again after you see the difference the HID make. And yes you will need two separate kits to do both high and low beams. Read through all the posts and see the pictures and comments from people, you won't be disappointed.

Anybody know the difference between these kits and the much less expensive ones found on online auction sites? Looking at photos, they look very similar, and its not like the 9005 or 9006 bulb is only on vets ...

PM me. I posted in a thread yesterday that had an ebay link to the correct ones. They were about $150 or so.

Sure you can find cheaper versions of almost anything. But I would prefer to do business with a people person. I have done research on these too and found that Davis' kit for $299 is premuim stuff and about 100-200$ below the same style kits available from major suppliers. He also personally guarantees his to work for you or your money back. The balllast are digital, waterproof, shock proof, have built in relays and ignitors, come with correct wire harness and have no power issues at all and even with twilight sentinal on. I have them on both my C5's and really didn't want to go through some BS with a buying from Hong Kong an item that is not even the one pictured on the auction. But to each their own I guess.

Dave,

The same kit is on ebay for much cheaper. It's from a US seller and comes with everything. Alot of members have purchased the kit with good results. The bad ebay stories you hear are form people who bought the wrong kit.

For what it's worth, it's not the same kit. Davis buys his directly from the ballast manufacturer and he is the only one selling the brand Galaxy Power. I can't vouch for any of the ebay kits..only the ones I have and I feel that I got my monies worth.
