I came soooooooooooo close to selling my 98 coupe this winter. Glad I did not, though. I then decided to jump in to my 9 year old car with both feet and my wallet this winter.
Ready for install once the weather is good enough:
Converting the standard seats to sport seats with new foam and new covers from Corvette America (beautiful work on the covers, by the way!)
New Bilstein HD's
2800 RPM stall converter from Edge Racing
3.73 gears differential from DTE
Diff and transmission brace from DTE
LS6 Manifold
New tunnel plate
(already installed...) new hood liner with full color decal and european tailights...
At least if my hands get cold, I can hold my credit card to keep them warm!!! I can't wait to get the first 500 miles on the gears and drop the hammer!!!! COME ON Spring!!!!!
Sounds like some great stuff you are doing! I love my Bilstein shocks and tunnel plate. Really firms up the ride nicely. Almost converted my seats to sport seats this winter as well. Found a pair of Corbeau A4 Leather seats that I just couldn't pass up. Went that route, instead. Post picts once you get everything installed!
I'll get some pix of everything when all arrives here. I thought that I would stack everything in the center of the living room and take some pix first, then try to take some pix while everything is BEING installed, then when it is...pretty hard to see 3.73's and the new stall speed after installation though....
