irritating things
i see things everyday that get to me. especially when i see a camaro or firebird with zo6 wheels, like i saw today. now i have a 99 coupe. i would put z06 wheels on it because they look good and they are corvette wheels. it gets to me how these carmaro/firebird guys put corvette accessories on their cars as if nobody noticed. i don't know, maybe it's just me. what's the sensus on this????

Don't let these things get to you. As many things as there are nowadays with LS-x powerplants and "Corvette chassis" you should be proud of the fact that you've got something authentic.
You should have seen my reaction when I saw a Chevy Tahoe with C5 badges on the fenders and rear liftgate. When I got to the light, I asked the guy " Is that the new C7 4-wheel drive prototype?" He beamed back at me and said, "Hey, man, I like the emblems! Can't afford the Vette, but at least I can pretend!"

I dont have a problem with it, at least its going on another GM vehicle. I saw a chevy truck a few months ago with some aftermarket wheels on it and he had the Vette emblem on the center cap.

I saw a Camaro the other day with chrome thin spoke C5 wheels. Looked pretty good actually. I'm not sure why Corvette wheels on a Camaro would bother anyone.

They are not pretending to be a vette, they are making an upgrade to their car. I put a C6 shifter in mine. It's probably a very cost effective wheel/tire upgrade to go with Z06 on a Camaro. I take it as a compliment. My stock parts are good enouph that these guys would spend money to get them. I don't think they are hoping people don't recognize what they are either. Probably proud to have 'vette parts on their car. If nothing else, it makes our used parts worth something.

I put C6 wheels on my wife's '92 and believe it or not, I have actually gotten static from both C4 and C6 owners about it.
