Nouman, I did read the story and was very touched. Very sad .
But as fas as performance mods I'm at a loss. New to the C5 not sure as to what to get. That's why I reponded in the thread that I would be asking the experts as he has.
The more I learn the more I can contribute.

I agree Chip but he is looking for the best bang for the buck for his daily driver. He drives it all year round. I am a little qualified when it comes to mods and I know even though headers are a great choice they will not be the best bang for the buck. Most quality headers are north of one grand I paid 1800 for my LG LT PROs.

Factory: Replied on the thread you linked, but not because of this thread. Found this one by accident and can't believe the fun I missed!
Me and 2 friends leaning against my dad's 86 Convertible back in August of 04'.
My dad that same week with my friends. He's owned 15 Corvettes since his first being a 1969 Stingray. He's the reason I have mine. Greatest guy that's ever lived IMO.
Pictures of his 96' Convertible and my 01' after we got done washing them this last fall.
My baby Sebrina. :o Ever since I put my 19 year old cat down in November, she's refused to leave my side when I'm home.
Her favorite spot when I'm on the computer surfing CF.
My oldest cat Monique. Very proper and very lady-like until you start pulling her tail......
