I never drink more than one or sometimes two when driving anymore... and that's only if I am eating supper and it's with colleages.
#1, I drive for a living
and #2 I figured out along time ago it's not worth it... I mean, just think if you hit some family and someone got hurt or WORSE and you were to blame??? It'd be bad enough if you ever did this sober but if you were just a bit tipsey and bam... life changing event... So I try to keep that in mind and stay safe... Shoot, simply driving a Vette too fast can be dangerous enough and most of us do that at least on occasion...
I have been to close on two occations and got lucky. Even when we go out Lori nornally is the DD. On occation I have been the DD if I see her having fun and I'll switch to coke or lay back and let her enjoy herself. That has only happened once so far.
I prefer once I'm at were I don't have to drive anywhere I drink. Very simple.
Not too mention what we have gone and going through DUI's with my daughter.
my wife and i have a drinking and driving policy , she drinks and i drive i gave it up it makes you feel bad the next day and i like jon would hate to ruin someone elses life . i have a friend that did just that he put a lady in a wheel chair and now he is doing time at the cross bar hotel .

That's rough...
But I'll tell you what... In some cities of South America, if you crash while DUI and kill someone... you get the same penalty.
