I hear ya... NY can be a tricky place to be in. I get out there because our companies HQ are located out there. As a matter of fact the last three employers I have been with all had their HQ in NY. What I have learned is don't act like a tourist and act like a native New Yorker.
Tell you hate the NY Giants? We are a NY Gaints Family during NFL season....
