Well I'm taking my C5 home to the plant and museum! I've never been to Bowling Green so I'm really looking forward to the trip! My cousin is taking museum delivery on his new C6 and GrayC5 and his neighbor Ike and I are going along in our C5's! We're leaving in about an hour!

You are going to love it. I was fascinated by the assembly plant and seeing the entire process of making a corvette. And then seeing all the historic vettes at the museum was an added bonus. Besides the museum delivery of my 2003, I've been to the plant and museum about 5 times and love it every time.

Did the same thing a year ago when my buddy picked up his C6, have a blast !

You will enjoy the museum. I hope that you can ge in the museum. They charge admission now & have certain hours of tours. Because you have payed for R8C, you may get a tour(private). The plant is conducting tours 3x a day M-F. I am not sure about the R8C folks. Check with the museum for the delivery date to be sure you can go thru the plant........It is truely the kewlest thing........

Have a good trip. I've been twice and had a blast both times.
Take a camera so you can get some good shots of your Vette in front of the plant and museum while you are there.

We're back! Flawless trip, lot of fun. We got a VIP tiur of the plant as well as the museum. We spent 8 hours there the day of the delivery! Will post some pics after I rest up.

Seriously we had a great time there and I wish when GrayC5 and Ike when in to see you that I would have gone with them.
