If they dont go below the as1 line they are legal. But each state is different. I had one on my C4, with proper prep its still came off. They look good but dont last long..

in cali if you have a note from your doctor saying you need it tinted for your eyes you can have it done.
the line on the window dont mean anything....its written in the v.c. book measure from the center of the seat up 36 and out 24 and that tells you how low the tint line can be or vice'versa on the numbers.
as for the sticker if the leos want to be an *** they can give you a ticket for the sticker saying its obstructing the front window.
im sure someones going to say im wrong but we have the front window tinted for my girls eyes (i dont like it makes it to dark at night so i dont take her car anywhere) and we got the paper
