Corvette Windshiled Sticker
We have all seen the windshield "Corvette" sticker on the winshield of vettes, BUT I have to wonder are they legal???
Does anyone know if they are legal to have a sticker on your windshield?
Does anyone know where you could get removable ones????

Most states have the "tint line" law, you can but any type of "shade" or tint to a certain point on the windshield. You'll see the DOT line on each side of the windshield on most cars.
Thats how we were taught to look for overly tinted windshields. I have never pulled anyone over or given a ticket for tint in my 13 year career.
The new popular thing is tinting the windshield, which is very illegal in most states if not all.

if you have a note from your doctor saying you need it tinted for your eyes you can have it done. the line on the window dont mean anything....its written in the v.c. book measure from the center of the seat up 36 and out 24 and that tells you how low the tint line can be or vice'versa on the numbers.
as for the sticker if the leos want to be an *** they can give you a ticket for the sticker saying its obstructing the front window.
im sure someones going to say im wrong but we have the front window tinted for my girls eyes (i dont like it makes it to dark at night so i dont take her car anywhere) and we got the paper

Might want to check with your state Highway Patrol and see what they say about it. I've seen it around here, but that's not saying it is legal.
