Default Sportbrakes

I remember reading some posts about sportbrakes.com a while back. Has anyone ordered Rotors and Pads from them and are you pleased with the product?

Their prices are great and I hope they're not too good to be true..................I'm looking at the slotted/dimpled rotors and it seems they only have one kind of pad.

I got the slotted/dimpled rotors. I didn't get pads from them. The rotors themselves looked okay. Few rough edges on them, but I've never bought a set of Wilwoods so don't know if this is normal or not, but anyway it wasn't any problem and they look great on the car. For the price, they were excellent value indeed.

Only other problem I had was that the left/right marks on the boxes were incorrect, lucky I checked the vane direction before installing.

I haven't yet got enough miles on them to say whether they last well long term or not.

I've got almost 15K miles on my Sportsbrakes rotors... they still look great... no rusting, no cracking around the drilled holes...

I have about 6k on mine, slotted/dimpled. Still look brand new. If I was to do it again I would go with just slotted and eliminate the potential for cracking around the Holes/dimples.

Just my .02. Good luck.

It's amazing how many you see that are backwards. The vanes should pull air away from the hub.

First off their customer service sucks. Secodly, I had one split completely in half with less than 500 miles on it and they wouldn't back there product up. Buyer beware! Sometimes you get what you pay for, unfortunately I had to learn the hard way!

I've had their rotors on for about 30,000 miles they do eventually rust, I took mine off and cleaned off the rust. I painted over their coating with high temp silver with a clear coat, they never looked better.

Do they also rust along the outside edges? Not just the hub..

Are they zinc coated?

I still have on the stock ones at 28k, and I noticed they havent rusted at all. (Yet.. heheh.)

Bought a set of D/S a few months ago (using GM ceramic). Happy with them, and they were zinc coated.

Hey if you talk to enough people about any product, your bound to find someone whose had a bad experience, that's my 02.
