Default Pebbles in Body Grove

I keep getting small pebbles that are a pain to remove in the bottom body grove immediately before the rear wheel on my 2007 Z. Anyone have the same problem and a solution to prevent?

got the same thing here, they are collecting in the body seam on the rear portion of the door jam. haven't found a good way to get them out yet and don't feel like tearing the car down to do so...

If you unbolt the wheel well from the rocker and quarter in that area you can flex the rocker and blow them out with compressed air.

All C6 Z's have this problem, I've eliminated this by installing half inch by half inch closed cell rubber tape in the gap between the fenderwell and the fender lip. Install the tape to the fender at the bottom leading edge and go as high as you can. Here is a link with more detail. http://tmaxxpowerpipes.tripod.com/id22.html

You can also remove the inner wheel liner (8 screws) and place a piece of rope caulk (from Lowes/Home Depot) over the top of the panel interface. The stones fly over and around the inner wheel liner and the caulk keeps them from getting down in the slots where the two panels join. If you do not want to take the car apart use a small flat bladed screw driver to push the stones toward the slots where the rocker tabs extend into the quarter and push them up into the rear of the quarter. They probably will fall back down in a short time but it can work long enough for shows.

Thanks. The foam weather strip did the job. Great advice.
