Recall question

I have a question about recalls I purchased a 97 C5 and want to know if I take it in to the dealer will they do any recall work that hasnt been performed on my vehicle. Lets say a recall was put out in 99 could I go in tomorrow and ask for it to be done. Go ahead I have on my flame retardant suit

any gm dealer will already know what recall and warranty work was done on the vehicle. if there was a recall that was not done they will do it.

A"safety recall" is good for the life of the car, until performed, regardless of the number of owners or miles, according to the NHTSA. As AQUAHOLIC says, you can contact the dealer w/VIN number or call GM custoner service at their toll free number.
