Default It has begun...

Well just got the Z one week ago and I am already buying stuff for it, when I got it all it had was a MGW shift ****, rocker savers, and Bilstein shocks. In the last week I have already made a little mod list and the stuff is on the way...

-K&N FIPK w/ hood seal
-B&M shifter
-HID conversion headlights
-Partition

and my shop is checking the price of long tubes with hi-flow cats and X-pipe. If the price is reasonable I will be getting them aswell. Then after the FIPK and headers are on I will be getting a dyno tune for it. I also lowered it on stock bolts and it looks so much better. This car is just such a better car than my Mustang ever was. I love this car.

Ya, I dont plan on doing much more for awhile. I went crazy on my last couple of cars and want to keep this one kinda mellow for now.

Welcome to the Zoo mang. I got mine March 5th (my second C5 though) And threw on a B&M within 4 days...much more to come very soon.

You won't be disappointed with the B&M...well worth the money.

Are you planning to get some stock dyno runs for base numbers?

I hear you about the stang. My buddy has a blower on a build motor in his stang...I stayed perfectly even with him from 40 - 120mph in my stock Z. He was speachless.

If I have time I will get some base runs. I did the same with my buddy in his 03 Cobra dead even, but my Mustang would have walked all over the Z as much as I dont want to say it (traped 131 in the 1/4 on 275/17 DR's). It was fast in a straight line but that was about it and thats not what I want from my car.

How do you like the Bilsteins?
It's a change I've been considering, but was thinking of going the 07 Z06 shock route,,,

I like them, the only other Z06 I have driven was on a test drive. That being said I dont really have a comparision between stock and the Bilsteins.
