I reccomend that newbies considering this catagory should drive their car stock until you get that needy feeling for more power.

Talk about the modding bug 
I took the LS-6 to an engine builder. My initial concept was to have the LS-6 heads ported,polished and shaved.
As it turned out, we wound up with a stroker kit, bored out I thought to 402, but one of his assistants told me 408. With the engine blue-printed and balanced.
